What are student council minutes?

Student council minutes are the minutes, or notes, of student council meetings. The leadership class generally has student council meetings once a week on Wednesday. Here, we listen to event proposals from clubs and other programs on campus and determine whether they should be held or not. Meetings are run by parliamentary procedure, where one person must make a motion, another must second the motion, and two-thirds of the body must agree for the motion to pass. Student council meeting minutes are written by the ASB secretary unless the secretary is absent. Here we will also post other notes taken by the ASB secretary like debrief notes from our discussions breaking down the successes and what could be improved in events.
